A registered architect with the Board of Architects Singapore, Esther graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Master’s in Architecture. She brings a thoughtful and grounded approach to design, with a sensitivity towards proportion, materiality, atmosphere, and the quiet details that shape how spaces are experienced in everyday life.

Esther’s professional experience spans a broad range of project types and scales, shaped by her years with established practices including DP Architects and DCA Architects. Her work has covered residential, mixed-use, institutional, commercial, interior, and conservation projects, with experience across the full architectural process — from early feasibility and concept design to authority submissions, technical coordination, contract administration, and construction detailing.

She has served as lead architect on major projects including Pasir Ris 8 and MFA, where she was closely involved in design development, consultant coordination, and the rigorous delivery of complex architectural work. During her design directorship, her projects was awarded the Singapore Good Design Award 2024, reflecting her commitment to thoughtful design, careful execution, and spaces that are both refined and purposeful.

As Principal Architect at Treehaus Architects, Esther works closely with clients, consultants, builders, and the wider project team to create spaces that are clear, considered, and enduring. Her work is shaped by careful listening, contextual understanding, and a belief that good architecture should feel both purposeful and deeply connected to the people who use it.
